FAQ
Q. Do I need to have a working phone line and jack to use Call-Temp?
A. Yes. Call-Temp uses both the electricity and the signal from the working phone line to perform it’s functions. If you do not pay for a “land line” you will be unable to use Call-Temp.
Q. Why can’t I put Call-Temp on the floor?
A. You want to measure the air temperature of your dwelling as close to the middle of the house and between the floor and the ceiling as possible.
Q. Where is the best place to put Call-Temp?
A. Ideally, a kitchen counter near the center of the home would be best.
Q. Why do you set Call-Temp and the home’s thermostat 10 degrees apart?
A. This allows for variations in both air temperature in the home and temperature measurements on the part of Call-Temp and the home’s thermostat.
